LOOKING BACK THIRTY YEARS OF ICTPA-SCC

 

The Birth of ICTPA-SCC

​

  • Inauguration Meeting 
     

North America Chinese Transportation Professionals Association - Southern California Chapter (NACTPA-SCC) [北美華人運輸協會南加州分會]was founded on March 7, 1992, in City of Rosemead, Los Angeles County, California, as a chapter of ICTPA. 
Thirty-eight people attended the inauguration meeting on March 7, 1992.

The name was changed to International Chinese Transportation Professionals Association - Southern California Chapter ( ICTPA-SCC) [國際華人交通運輸協會南加州分會] on February 5, 1995.

Luncheon Meetings and Workshops

ICTPA-SCC has held regularly luncheon meetings to learn new developments in our profession and to find out new business opportunities. 


Workshops were conducted to foster technical development and business networking.

Annual Meetings and Yearbooks

The annual meeting has been one of the most important events organized by ICTPA-SCC. 


A yearbook was published.

ICTPA-SCC has organized Chinese new year celebration parties every year. 


 ICTPA-SCC has had seminars to help members in career development and job hunting. 


 ICTPA-SCC has promoted the senior members mentoring the younger members. 

International Conferences and Technical Exchanges

ICTPA-SCC has organized numerous International Conferences.

 
ICTPA-SCC has received many transportation delegates from Mainland China and Taiwan. 


The members of ICTPA-SCC participated in many technical visits to Mainland China and Taiwan.

Community Services

ICTPA-SCC has given back to our communities.
